Arctic Monkeys - Fox Theater // Oakland, CA

Firstly, I'll review my favorite band, Arctic Monkeys. It might sound bias for me to review this band, but they truly are great performers. If you go to one of their solo concerts, you will know the experience of true sweaty fandom. From the first song to the last song, every word was sung by majority of the audience. Or mostly me. Alex Turner (Lead Singer/ Lead Guitarist) really gives a chilling tone to every song that really makes your hairs stand. Apart from the great instruments, their lyrics are very inspiring not only to those mending heartbreak or despair. The strobe lights and effects are beyond good with the beats. Overall, this is a hell of a good show to go to anywhere… even festivals. 5/5 A+

    Queue the Intro

I'm the type of person to look up reviews before doing anything. From food, concerts, airlines, to even what ergonomic chair to buy to write reviews comfortably. It makes life feel more secure when investing time and especially money into something.

I preferably have a hobby of going out and going to live concerts and festivals. This is what this blog will be directed to, a genre of music (mostly indie/alternative and hip-hop) being critiqued and reviewed to ensure either a good or a bad time. Of course there will be variables that make a concert a good time, but I'll focus on the live music that is either worth it or a complete waste of time. I'm talking about the general admission perks of standing next to sweaty, hardcore fans that are willing to scream their lungs out to lyrics they might know or think they know.

In a general purpose, this blog will serve as a guidance and maybe something to crush all your live music concert hopes or add onto the excitement of finally seeing your favorite band live. Hope all goes well, and music is as grand live as it is in an .mp3 format.

    Cheers, NC
